Black American Heritage Flag Necklace

Did you know like other ethnicities; (Jamaican, Dominican, Nigerian, etc.) Black Americans/African Americans have their own Flag? Most don’t know about the Black American Heritage Flag. The Black American Flag is different than the Red Black Green Pan African Flag, which represents all Black Ethnicities.

The color red represents the blood shed by Black Americans for freedom and equality in America. The color black represents pride in being Black. The color gold represents intellect, prosperity, and peace.

The flag was created in 1967 by Black Americans Melvin Charles and Gleason T. Jackson.
