Story behind:
In this culture, the number Five refers to the hand -its five fingers, universal means of protection against the evil, the one who “devours” (also called “kaaramaajo” which means the soul-eating witch in Fulani).
The symbol frequently occupy the center of the decor of the Fulani calabashes, which is also the part on which it rests : they have an apotropaic function.
This ring is made to measure, please send us the size of your finger (see our size guide for directions). This jewel is handmade, following the lost wax technique.
Please allow up to 10 days for completion. Wholesale prices are available. The price is negotiable.
