Kip “Wop” Douglass II, lost his longstanding fight with mental health. He was a well-loved & highly respected member of his family & community.
“Stay Dangerous” was a phrase he used often, though it isn’t an invention of his own. He believed that being knowledgeable and educated (formally or informally), owning your own time, and having legal income were things far more dangerous to the system than doing things leading to the loss of your freedom & independence.
The colors of this collection (turquoise & purple) mirror those of the suicide prevention ribbon. We want to let others know who are fighting a similar battle that they are not alone. Seek the Lord & you will find him.
20% of all profits from this collection will be donated to his 3 surviving children’s trust fund & 10% will be given to the memorial fund created in his namesake.
Purple & turquoise are the colors of the Suicide Prevention Awareness Ribbon.
This hoodie is 9oz with smooth fleece on the inside.
