The idea for Sweet Berry Lane came in 2005 (and was official in 2007) after I could not find any African American party invitations for my son’s first birthday. Since our humble beginnings, we have sold thousands of invitations, stationery products and gifts and our customers feel like family. We have witnessed our customers begin with bridal shower invitations, then order baby shower invitations and now some of those customers have kids that are about to graduate high school.
The name “Sweet Berry Lane” came from a dream and is derived from the “the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice”. The Lane portion represents the journey we are on in this life.
